If only it was possible to convey your feelings in a tongue that both mono-lingual lions and mono-lingual hyenas could both speak and understand; Vexedcanvas was unable to find such a language, however, and so stood with his head lowered and mane fluffed up in warning, his lips pulled back in a deadly snarl. The white beast had no ways of pushing back the injured canine in any other manner other than threats and violence, and whilst he had no want to engage in battle with this large female, he had no choice but to forcibly shove her away. A paw was raised, his breath was rattling in his lungs, and he lashed out, finally landing a blow that got the message across; the hyena scampered, yelping, blood dripping to the floor.

His prize was the deer he'd killed minutes before the lone hyena had come along hunting for an easy meal that had proved harder to get than she'd anticipated. Vexedcanvas gave a low huff and turned to grasp the large buck's neck in his strong jaws, chocolate eyes flicking up in the direction of camp before his paws followed and he began to drag the meal back to camp.
